Very pretty old jug with a rather unusual shape hand painted with leaves and flowers and the message "think of me".Some slight loss of gilding on the handle and lip but nonetheless a lovely present for someone special

Made for the British Navy we believe at the time of the Suez crisis by the maker Enolin this little pot still containsthe original unused block of tooth soap.Obviously no longer suitable for using it would nonetheless make a very decorative bathroom item.

We have a very limited supply of Lanes Black boot polish which dates from the war in fact they were a special economy war time pack. The polish has shrivelled up inside so it now only fills about a third of each tin but it still smells of polish! It is just a little bit of history in a very attractive tin!6cm approx
